Relive the scenes from the iconic movie The Empire Strikes Back with Britt Festival Orchestra performing John Williams’ Grammy winning score live to the giant screen presentation on Sunday, June 21st, 2026 at 8:00pm at the Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens in Jacksonville, Oregon.
Britt’s Music Director Norman Huynh will lead the Britt Festival Orchestra to a screening of this iconic film. The Britt Festival Orchestra is one of the finest auditioned regional orchestras in the country and has been praised by major ensembles and orchestras from across the country. An elite group of the country’s most talented musicians handpicked by Music Director Norman Huynh from the top symphony orchestras, ensembles and music companies across the United States.
Performing in an incredible outdoor setting, on a picturesque hillside amphitheater with the Rogue Valley foothills as a backdrop, they will perform for an audience of approximately 2,200 fans. Gates open at 6:00 PM with the show starting at 8:00 PM. Tickets start at $65 and concessions will be available from Fat Kid Food Co. and Walkabout Brewing during the event.

Join the Britt Festival Orchestra performing the score to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back by John Williams live at the Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens on Sunday, June 21, 2026. A very large screen will be playing the movie and doors open at 6:00 pm with the concert starting at 8:00 pm. Britt Festival Music Director Norman Huynh leads the Britt Festival Orchestra made up of some of the top musicians in the country from the major orchestras of the United States. The movie will be shown on a very large screen above the orchestra. Music from The Empire Strikes Back is considered some of the best written for film by John Williams. Iconic themes from this film include “The Imperial March,” “Yoda’s Theme,” and the stunning “Han Solo and the Princess.” All of these themes and many more will be performed live by a huge orchestra made up of the top musicians from major Orchestras across the country.
Music Director, Norman Huynh and the Britt Festival Orchestra deliver impressive and always vibrant performances of great music. Maestro Huynh is a first generation Asian-American conductor who has led the New York Philharmonic, the St. Louis Symphony and many other of the world’s greatest Orchestras. He brings a very fresh perspective to the performance of all types of music.
The Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens is located at 350 South First Street, in Jacksonville, OR. It is an outdoor hillside venue with breathtaking views of the Rogue Valley foothills. There are several different options of seating that Britt offers to provide a great experience for all of their guests. Premium Reserved seating, which is available as well as Standard Reserved seating on assigned benches (Standard Reserved), General Admission on the Lawn where guests bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, ADA accessible seating and Standing Room Only.
Concessions are available at Britt. In addition to the concession stand located at the Pavilion, Britt guests have the option of pre-show dining at Fat Kid Food Co. or Walkabout Brewing, located just a short walk from the Pavilion. There is limited parking available for patrons with disabilities in a designated lot located near the Pavilion’s drop-off area. A shuttle will be available to transport patrons from the following city parking lots and street spaces: City Lot A, 5th & E St, City Lot B, 5th & Oregon St, City Lot C, 6th & Oregon St, City Lot D, 6th & C St, and on the following designated streets: 5th St (between E and Oregon St), E St (between 5th and Oregon St), and Oregon St (between 5th to 6th St).
