2026 Summer Tour (special 'Days Between' show)

Dark Star Orchestra will return to the Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens in Jacksonville, Oregon on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026. Doors for GA tickets open at 5:45PM, VIP at 5:15PM, and the show starts at 6:30PM.

This special date marks one of the many 'Days Between' performances on the 2026 Summer Tour where the seven member band will tour through multiple U.S. Cities performing at Northeast amphitheaters, and have a loyal following of fans from all generations of Deadheads who know the music and come together to honor some of the most famous performances in live music history. 

Dark Star Orchestra

Long time fans of Grateful Dead music will recognize many of their most beloved classic songs in the recordings of this 7 man band of musicians. They have been playing these songs for nearly 30 years and have a loyal following of fans from all over the country. All of the songs being played are some of the Dead's all time greatest songs as well as many of their most memorable set lists from throughout the years, including many songs from 1978, 1985 and beyond.

You will hear laid back psychedelic rock ballads, upbeat rock and roll, bluegrass numbers and everything in between. The band puts their own special spin on such tunes as "Dark Star", "Let The Good Times Roll", "Cassidy", "Playing in the Band", "Uncle John's Band", "Casey Jones", "Box of Rain", "Brokedown Road", "Truckin'", "Row Jimmy", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", and many more. 

With nearly 30 years of performing experience, they have had the great fortune of having played with 6 of the 8 original Grateful Dead members, including Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Mickey Hart, Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and late keyboardist Vince Welnick. They have also shared the stage with other Dead associates, including legendary Dead soundman Dan Healy, as well as several well known musicians including Trey Anastasio's Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman and Dissonant Objects guitarist/songwriter Steve Kimock. 

Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens Information

The outdoor venue is located at 350 S First Street, in the heart of historic Jacksonville, Oregon. An open air amphitheater under the stars, surrounded by ponderosa pines and beautiful gardens. The venue is only a two block stroll down First Street from downtown Jacksonville.

With seats for every style of concert-goer. Choose from Premium Reserved and Standard Reserved seating, and if you like to stand at shows we offer SRO (Standing Room Only) seats as well as General Admission on the Adult Lawn where you can spread blankets or low-backed chairs.

Parking Information

The easy parking, right next to where the historic concerts take place in Jacksonville was wonderful. There are also free lots a block away from the venue, such as the Britt Cultural Center, 150 E Stewart Ave. A 10 minute walk. On show nights there is also a trolley and shuttle service provided to help park and travel to the venue.

Ticket Information

Tickets for this performance will go on sale for $100. Tickets are available through Ticket Squeeze ticket marketplace and the box office at Oregon’s most beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Dark Star Orchestra tickets usually sell out in an instant, so act quickly.
